LVEC's most important fundraiser of the year!
This is not your ordinary SCRABBLE® GAME!
It's an evening of music, food, good-spirited competition - and great prizes!
The evening begins with music, snacks, and a beer & wine cash bar.
Next; a delicious dinner.
And then, the room becomes hushed, the host counts down, and the game begins!
The Game
Teams of eight play using a new Scrabble® board. Teams compete to win by achieving the highest score, so no special skills are needed by individuals. Even if you think you can't spell, you can contribute to your team!
Our rules encourage all players to participate on a "level playing field" where individual skill matters less and team spirit counts more... and everyone has FUN!
"Cheating" for a Good Cause
Buying extra letters and peeks at the dictionary is allowed... and encouraged!
At a price, you might even convince us of another, more ingenious, way to "cheat” for a good cause.
Prizes!
Prizes will be issued to the first, second, third, fourth and fifth place winners as follows:
1st Place The 2009 Trophy and $800 worth of Bank Square Gift Certificates
2nd Place $600 worth of Bank Square Gift Certificates
3rd Place $240 worth of Bank Square Gift Certificates
4th Place $200 worth of Bank Square Gift Certificates
5th Place $160 worth of Bank Square Gift Certificates
Throughout the 45-minute game, the intensity builds and builds right to the exciting conclusion!

- Sponsor a table for your firm or business. Challenge another business, organization, or social group to compete!
